Chandru is geboren op 21 februari van 2012. Zijn mama haar naam is Lakshmi en zijn papa heet Perumal.

Twee jaar geleden heeft de papa het arme gezin verlaten. Mama werkt in de bouw en sleurt stenen en zand. Ze heeft 4 kinderen. De twee dochters verlijven bij de oma en de twee zonen zijn in Saranalaya. Chandru is de oudere broer van Sanjai.

Later zou Chandru graag ingenieur worden. Hij speelt graag cricket en volleybal.

Hij eet liefst kip en groenten.
